A quick and nutritious pasta dish combining turkey, pesto, and fresh broccoli for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Pasta and Vegetables

ounces
whole-wheat fusilli pasta

cups
small broccoli florets
2
cups
shredded cooked turkey or chicken

cup
grape tomatoes, halved

prepared pesto

lemon juice

grated Parmesan cheese

freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta; cook for 3 minutes less than package directions.
Add broccoli and cook until tender, about 3 minutes. Drain and return to pot.
Stir in turkey, tomatoes, pesto, lemon juice, and salt.
Divide among 4 plates and top with Parmesan and pepper, if desired.
Notes
You can substitute chicken for turkey or add extra vegetables for more nutrition.
