A hearty and flavorful beef chili perfect for cozy nights, packed with spices and topped with fresh ingredients.

Instructions
Heat vegetable oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat for 3 minutes.
Add seasoned beef and brown on all sides for about 5 minutes.
Add diced onion (reserve 2 tbsp) and minced garlic; cook until soft and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Mix cumin, chilli powder, cinnamon, paprika; add to pan with tomato puree and bay leaf. Cook for 2 minutes.
Pour in beans, chopped tomatoes, apple juice, and beef broth. Bring to boil, then simmer covered for 3-4 hours until beef is tender.
Serve with toppings and rice if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, simmer slowly and adjust seasoning to taste.
