A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining tender beef, crisp vegetables, and savory sauce over noodles for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Noodles

  • 8 oz rice noodles or egg noodles
  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 carrots julienned
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)

Garnish

  • Sesame seeds and fresh cilantro (optional)

Sticky Sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

Instructions 

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  • Toss sliced beef with cornstarch until coated.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, cook beef until browned, then remove.
  • Stir-fry vegetables, garlic, and ginger until tender-crisp.
  • Return beef, add sauce, and cook briefly. Add noodles and toss to coat.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro before serving.
