Delicious and nutritious homemade granola bars packed with superfoods and dark chocolate chips.
Ingredients
Dried Fruits

medjool dates
(pits removed)
Dry Ingredients

cup
gluten-free rolled oats

toasted almonds, chopped

pumpkin seeds

cup
sunflower seeds

sesame seeds

flax seeds

almond butter
(the runny kind is best)
Chocolate
handful
dark chocolate chips or chunks
(70% dark chocolate)
Instructions
Puree the medjool dates in a food processor to make a date paste.
Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl, then add the date paste and almond butter. Mix until combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment, press mixture evenly into the pan, and refrigerate for 4 hours to set.
Remove from fridge and cut into bars or squares. Store in the fridge.
Notes
Press mixture firmly into the pan for even bars and refrigerate to set properly.
