A delicious and healthy vegan-friendly dessert or breakfast featuring fresh strawberries and chia seeds, perfect for a quick prep.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1.5 cups ripe sweet fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp maple syrup, agave or other sweetener (to taste)
  • 3/4 cup dry chia seeds

Optional

  • Dash salt (optional)

Instructions 

  • Wash, dry, and hull the strawberries.
  • Blend strawberries, oat milk, vanilla, sweetener, and salt (if using) until smooth.
  • Pour into a jar and stir in chia seeds.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then stir again and chill until thickened.
  • Serve topped with fresh strawberries or berries.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor and adjust sweetener to taste.
