Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 1/4 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 Tbsp Tejari Organic Vanilla Blend

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Cream butter and sugar, then beat in eggs. Mix in buttermilk and vanilla.
  • Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt; fold into batter. Pour into pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Let cake cool completely. Meanwhile, mix Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla, and Vanilla Blend until smooth.
  • Spread frosting on cooled cake, garnish with berries and edible flowers if desired.
