Ingredients

Instructions
Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add pumpkin, milk, egg, and oil; knead until smooth.
Let dough rise in a warm place for 60-90 minutes until doubled.
Punch down dough, roll into a rectangle, spread butter, fold, and roll out again. Repeat with remaining butter.
Divide into 8 pieces, shape into bagels, and let rise for 20-40 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Brush bagels with milk, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
Notes
For a richer flavor, toast sesame seeds before topping.
