Crispy, golden popcorn chicken made with seasoned flour and tender chicken cubes, perfect for a flavorful snack or meal.

Ingredients

Dried ingredients

  • 3 cup flour
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 2 tsp salt
  • 1 4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cup oil, or as needed (for frying)
  • 3 chicken breasts chicken breasts, cubed

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  • Beat eggs and lemon juice together in a separate bowl.
  • Dredge chicken in flour mixture, dip in egg mixture, then coat again with flour.
  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Fry chicken in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
  • Transfer fried chicken to paper towels to drain. Repeat with remaining chicken.

Notes

Ensure oil is hot enough before frying to achieve crispy coating.
