A delicious and refreshing smoothie that captures the tropical flavors of a classic piña colada in a healthy, creamy drink.

Ingredients

Liquid

  • 1 cup coconut milk (lite or full fat, refrigerated or canned)
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (preferably frozen and pre-frozen)
  • 2 tbsp sweetener (of choice or a ripe frozen banana)

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 scoop ice cream (optional)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional)

Instructions 

  • Freeze the crushed pineapple ahead of time for a thicker texture.
  • Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a creamier smoothie, add a scoop of ice cream or protein powder.
