Instructions
Separate, wash, and dry lettuce leaves; refrigerate.
Mix soy sauce, hoisin, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, chili sauce, cornstarch, and water.
Cook onion in oil until softened, then add garlic and ginger; cook 30 seconds.
Add chicken, cook until browned, then stir in water chestnuts and green onions.
Pour sauce into skillet, cook until thickened, then spoon into lettuce leaves.
Top with remaining green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast the sesame seeds before adding.
