dry spaghetti or linguine
Shrimp

large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Seasonings

Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Sauté in butter and olive oil until pink, then set aside.
Sauté tomatoes and garlic in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes. Add pesto, Parmesan, and reserved pasta water, stirring to combine.
Toss pasta and shrimp in the sauce until coated. Serve garnished with Parmesan and basil.
Notes
Use fresh basil for the best flavor and adjust pesto quantity to taste.
