A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring fresh spinach and Parmesan, perfect for a wholesome meal in minutes.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti, penne, or your choice)

Vegetables

  • 6 cups fresh spinach

Oils & Condiments

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Garlic & Spices

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Dairy & Cheese

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus more for garnish)

Salt & Pepper

  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Pasta Water & Lemon

  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water (optional)
  • optional Lemon wedges

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain, reserving some pasta water.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cook until fragrant.
  • Add spinach to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, cook until wilted.
  • Combine pasta with spinach, add reserved water if needed, then stir in Parmesan cheese. Garnish with extra cheese and lemon if desired.

Notes

Use fresh spinach for best flavor and quick cooking.
