Ingredients

Salmon

  • 24 oz filets of salmon (boneless and skinless)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or neutral oil
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together all spice rub ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Brush salmon with oil and coat generously with spice rub.
  • Bake for 12 minutes, then broil 2-3 minutes until slightly charred.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
