A quick and flavorful one-pot meal combining tender steak, pasta, and a creamy tomato sauce, perfect for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb sirloin, flank, or ribeye steak, sliced thin (sliced thin)

Pasta

  • 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta

Liquids

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes canned or fresh

Other ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper

  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish

  • optional Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot, cook sliced steak until browned, then set aside.
  • Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until softened.
  • Add beef broth, heavy cream, diced tomatoes, pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
  • Return steak to the pot, stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Garnish with herbs if desired, then serve.

Notes

Adjust seasoning as needed and serve immediately for best flavor.
