A quick and flavorful one-pot meal combining pasta, tuna, and Mediterranean ingredients for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 1 pound orecchiette pasta or other fun shaped pasta

Oil

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Vegetables

  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Canned Goods

  • 1 14.5 ounce diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup cannellini or navy beans
  • 1 5 ounce can Chicken of the Sea Solid White Albacore Tuna

Herbs & Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Olives

  • 1/2 cup sliced green olives

Cheese

  • 1/4 cup grated asiago cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese for serving

Fresh Herbs

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, cook onion until softened, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add tomatoes, beans, artichokes, tuna, and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil and cook 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in olives, add pasta, and toss to combine. Mix in asiago cheese and basil.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve immediately.

Notes

Use high-quality canned tuna for best flavor.
