Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes

Grains

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice

Fats & Oils

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Aromatics

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Liquids

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Cheese & Seasonings

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Garnish

  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook seasoned chicken until golden, then set aside.
  • Melt butter, sauté garlic, add rice to toast, then pour in broth and simmer covered for 12-15 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and seasonings, then return chicken and cook 3-5 minutes until creamy.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh parsley for best flavor, and adjust seasoning to taste.
