These homemade oatmeal protein bars are a perfect on-the-go snack, combining wholesome oats with protein power for sustained energy.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats ((250g))
  • 1 cup protein powder ((100g))

Wet ingredients

  • 1 cup almond butter ((240g))
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup ((120ml, can substitute for agave nectar or brown rice syrup))

Instructions 

  • Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix protein powder, oats, maple syrup, and almond butter until combined. Add milk if needed.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared pan and refrigerate until firm.
  • Slice into bars and drizzle with chocolate if desired.
