Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 pounds chicken (sliced, cubed or shredded)
  • shredded provolone or provel cheese
  • sliced avocado
  • sprouts
  • green leaf lettuce
  • 4 10" flour tortillas flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • a pinch garlic powder (if desired)

Instructions 

  • In a skillet, melt butter and stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and black pepper.
  • Add chicken and sauté until cooked and golden, about 15 minutes.
  • Cool chicken for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, melt butter in a small pan, add lemon zest and black pepper, then stir in mayonnaise and garlic powder.
  • Spread sauce on tortillas, add lettuce, sprouts, avocado, and chicken. Roll up, cut in half, and serve.

Notes

Feel free to add other veggies or cheese for extra flavor.
