Instructions
Mince garlic and ginger, slice green onions, and separate lettuce leaves.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
Add beef, cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes, breaking apart with a spatula.
Reduce heat, stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, gochujang, and black pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat, stir in half of green onions and sesame seeds. Spoon beef into lettuce leaves, garnish as desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add optional toppings like shredded carrots, cucumber slices, or kimchi.
