A flavorful and healthy salmon dish glazed with honey mustard, served with crispy air-fried vegetables and fresh lemon wedges.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 fillets quality skin-on salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ - 2 tbsp hot honey or regular honey (use as preferred)
  • ½ tsp coconut aminos (or low-sodium soy sauce)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp lemon pepper (leave out if unavailable)

  • 1 head broccoli or 1 bunch green beans (washed and dried)
  • 1 ½ tbsp avocado or olive oil
  • ½ tsp kosher or coarse sea salt (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • to taste Fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (dairy-free or regular)
  • tiny pinch red pepper chili flakes
  • to taste finely chopped parsley
  • to taste finely chopped dill

Instructions 

  • Pat salmon dry, season with salt and pepper. Mix mustard, honey, coconut aminos, and garlic powder; coat salmon and sprinkle with paprika. Marinate while preparing vegetables.
  • Prepare vegetables: chop broccoli or trim green beans, toss with oil, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Air fry at 380°F for 9-13 minutes until crispy.
  • Cook salmon: sear in a hot skillet for 3-4 minutes per side or air fry at 400°F for 7-8 minutes, or oven bake at 400°F for 9-11 minutes until cooked through.
  • Finish vegetables: squeeze lemon juice, sprinkle Parmesan and chili flakes. Serve salmon garnished with herbs alongside vegetables and lemon wedges.

Notes

Adjust marinating time for more flavor. Keep an eye on vegetables to prevent overcooking.
