Instructions
Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
Combine wet ingredients: melted butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, applesauce, and diced apples.
Mix wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes.
Mix powdered sugar with apple cider for glaze and drizzle over cooled fritters.
Notes
For best results, use firm apples and do not overmix the batter.
