Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Vegetables

  • 4 medium russet potatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) (for spice)

Liquids

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Toppings & Garnish

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional) (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned, then set aside.
  • Sauté onion and garlic in the same skillet until softened.
  • Add potatoes and seasonings, pour in broth, cover, and cook until tender.
  • Mix in cooked beef, then top with cheese and parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or your favorite herbs.
