Ingredients

Eggs

  • 2 pieces eggs (room temperature)

Sweeteners

  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar

Flavorings

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Chocolate

  • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (by weight)

Fats

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (50 grams)

Nut Butters

  • 1/3 cup creamy unsalted peanut butter (plus more for topping)

Dry Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional Mix-ins

  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips (for mixing)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch pan with parchment.
  • Cream sugar and eggs, melt chocolate with coconut oil, then mix into eggs with vanilla.
  • Stir in peanut butter, sift in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour batter into pan, swirl peanut butter on top, then bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Cool, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a pinch of sea salt on top before baking.
