Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe avocados (creamy and rich base)
  • 0.25 cup finely diced red onion (adds crunch and sharpness)
  • 1 small Roma tomato (diced, juicy and slightly sweet)
  • 1 small jalapeño (finely chopped for a mild kick)
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh cilantro (bright and herbaceous)
  • 1 lime juice of lime (zesty and helps keep guac green)
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt (enhances all the flavors)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced, optional for savory depth)

Instructions 

  • Scoop the avocado flesh into a bowl, add lime juice and salt.
  • Mash with a fork until creamy but slightly chunky.
  • Fold in diced onion, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, and garlic.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes to meld flavors, then taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Serve immediately with chips or as desired.

Notes

Use ripe avocados for best flavor and texture.
