A quick and delicious ground turkey pasta dish that's perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 3 cups rotini pasta
  • 1 24-28 ounce jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 14.5-ounce can chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • Brown the turkey, onion, and garlic in a skillet for 8 minutes.
  • Stir in basil, oregano, garlic powder, and uncooked pasta.
  • Add spaghetti sauce and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and cook until pasta is al dente, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Garnish with Parmesan cheese and serve.

Notes

You can substitute ground chicken or beef for variety.
