Ingredients

Shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1-2 teaspoons red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1-2 teaspoons smoked or sweet paprika
  • 1-2 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions 

  • Rinse and dry the shrimp; remove tails if desired.
  • Mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay, red pepper flakes, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Add shrimp to marinade, toss to coat, and rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high; oil grates lightly.
  • Grill shrimp 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque; rest briefly.
  • Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges; serve immediately.

Ensure not to over-marinate the shrimp to prevent texture changes.
