Ingredients

Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper (to season)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • as needed Lemon wedges

Lemon Butter Sauce

  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or dill (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat grill to medium-high and oil grates.
  • Brush salmon with olive oil, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Grill 4–5 mins per side until flaky and 125–130°F internally.
  • Melt butter, add garlic, lemon juice, zest, and herbs.
  • Drizzle lemon butter over salmon and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh herbs to the lemon butter.
