A delicious and easy-to-make salmon dish with garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Main

  • 4 pieces boneless skinless Salmon Fillets
  • 40 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (plus more to taste)
  • 1 tsp Salt (plus more to taste)
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper (plus more to taste)
  • 0.5 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 6 tbsp Unsalted Butter (divided into tbsp chunks)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (finely diced)
  • 120 ml Vegetable Stock
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (finely diced)
  • 1 lemon Lemon (divided into 4 wedges)

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Coat salmon fillets evenly.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry fillets 3 mins per side until golden. Add 1 tbsp butter and baste for 1 min. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, cook garlic until lightly browned. Pour in stock, scrape pan, then add remaining butter. Whisk until sauce thickens. Add parsley and season if desired.
  • Simmer sauce for a few minutes until thickened. Return salmon to pan, baste with sauce, and warm through. Serve with lemon wedges and extra sauce.

Notes

Ensure not to burn the garlic to avoid bitterness.
