A rich, gluten-free cake combining black cocoa, chia seeds, and Greek yogurt for a moist, flavorful treat.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 200 g almond flour
  • ½ cup black cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt

Wet ingredients

  • ½ cup maple syrup or honey
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9-inch cake pan.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Whisk wet ingredients in another bowl.
  • Combine wet and dry, mix until thick batter forms.
  • Pour into pan and bake for 28-32 minutes; cool before serving.

Notes

Optional to dust with powdered sugar or serve with berries.
