A quick and nutritious breakfast sandwich combining fluffy egg whites, creamy avocado, and melted cheese on whole grain bread.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • 2 egg whites egg whites
  • 0.5 avocado avocado mashed
  • 0.25 cup pepper jack cheese shredded (any cheese is fine)
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Toast the bread slices.
  • Cook egg whites over medium-low heat until set, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Spread mashed avocado on both slices of toasted bread.
  • Place cooked egg whites on one slice and shredded cheese on the other.
  • Season with salt and pepper, assemble the sandwich, and enjoy.

Notes

Use ripe avocado for best flavor and mash well.
