A quick and flavorful chicken skillet with a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in half horizontally
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, for topping
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil and butter in skillet; sear chicken 4-5 mins per side until cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • Add garlic; cook 1 min. Pour in broth; scrape browned bits. Simmer 2 mins.
  • Stir in cream and Italian seasoning; simmer. Add Parmesan cheese; stir until thickened.
  • Return chicken; spoon sauce over. Top with Parmesan and parsley. Cover and cook 2 mins.

Notes

Use fresh parsley for best flavor. Adjust seasoning to taste.
