In a medium bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat and let marinate for 10-15 minutes at room temperature.
Drain mini mozzarella balls if packed in brine and pat dry. Gently wash and pat dry basil leaves, folding larger leaves if needed.
Thread a cherry tomato, a mozzarella ball, and a basil leaf onto each skewer. Repeat to create a balanced arrangement.
Arrange skewers on a platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Optionally, sprinkle with extra salt and pepper.
Serve immediately or chill and bring to room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving.
