Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish Sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Marinate sliced beef in soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, brown sugar, and water for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, cook garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  • Add beef to skillet, cook until crispy and fully cooked.
  • Serve over rice, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra crunch, fry the beef until golden brown.
