Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or your pasta of choice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound fresh salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and flake into pieces.
  • Pour heavy cream into the skillet, add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, stirring until smooth. Add salmon back to the sauce and heat through.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, garnish with chopped dill or parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
