A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken simmered in a creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken until golden; remove and set aside.
  • Sauté mushrooms until browned, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Deglaze pan with chicken broth, return chicken, add heavy cream, and simmer until cooked and sauce thickens. Optional: stir in Parmesan and garnish with parsley.
