A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring ground beef, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz penne pasta

Meat

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

Cream

  • 1 cup heavy cream

Garlic

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Onion

  • 1 medium medium onion, diced

Cheese

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seasoning

  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Oil

  • 2 tsp olive oil for sautéing

Instructions 

  • Cook penne according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned, then season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Lower heat, stir in heavy cream, and gradually add reserved pasta water. Mix in Parmesan until melted.
  • Combine cooked pasta with sauce, toss gently, and serve hot with extra Parmesan or parsley if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
