A rich and creamy vegan chocolate mousse made with ripe avocados and cocoa powder, perfect for a healthy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup or honey (for non-vegan)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon almond milk (optional, to loosen texture)

Instructions 

  • Place avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt in a food processor or blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
  • If too thick, add almond milk a teaspoon at a time and blend until desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup if needed.
  • Transfer to serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This mousse is best enjoyed chilled and can be topped with berries or nuts for extra flavor.
