A quick and flavorful stir fry combining tender chicken and fresh zucchini in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (cut into 1-inch pieces)

Vegetables

  • 3 medium zucchini (sliced into half-moons)

Aromatics

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)

Sauces & Oils

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions 

  • Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch until smooth.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until browned, 5-6 minutes; set aside.
  • Add remaining oil, cook zucchini 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  • Stir in garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes; cook 30 seconds.
  • Return chicken, pour sauce, toss 1-2 minutes until thickened. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor. Adjust red pepper flakes to taste.
