A creamy and flavorful Chicken Alfredo Pasta that's quick to prepare and perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 3 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces fettuccine or your favorite pasta
  • Extra Parmesan cheese Extra Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
  • Chopped fresh parsley Chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Rest and slice into strips.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and simmer. Whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
  • Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and reserve ½ cup of water. Add pasta and chicken to the sauce, tossing to coat. Thin with reserved water if needed.
  • Plate the pasta, garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
