A hearty and flavorful one-pot meal that combines pasta, seasoned ground beef, and fresh toppings, all cooked effortlessly in your slow cooker.

Ingredients

Meat and Seasonings

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 15 ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup jarred salsa
  • 15 ounce can corn, drained
  • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 2.5 cups water or low-sodium chicken broth
  • 12 ounces shell pasta, uncooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional garnishes

  • sour cream, fresh cilantro, diced avocado, extra cheese Garnishes (Optional toppings)

Instructions 

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then transfer to the slow cooker.
  • Add bell pepper, crushed tomatoes, salsa, corn, taco seasoning, and water to the slow cooker. Stir well.
  • Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours, then stir in uncooked pasta, ensuring it's submerged. Cook on HIGH for 15-30 minutes until tender.
  • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Serve with optional garnishes.

Notes

Ensure pasta is fully submerged before cooking to prevent sticking.
