A flavorful one-pan dish combining spicy Cajun-seasoned shrimp with tender rice for a quick and satisfying meal.

Rice and Broth

uncooked long grain white rice

chicken broth
Shrimp

large or jumbo shrimp (peeled and de-veined)
Butter

butter (melted, divided)

minced garlic

garlic powder

cracked black pepper

teaspoon
onion powder

teaspoon
dried oregano
(may sub Italian herb blend or Herbs de Provence)

Instructions
Whisk together all Cajun seasoning ingredients. Melt 2 tbsp butter, stir in garlic, half of seasoning, and rice.
Add chicken broth, bring to boil, then simmer covered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Mix remaining melted butter with remaining seasoning, coat shrimp, then cook until pink, about 3-5 minutes.
Stir shrimp into rice, cover, and cook for 3-5 minutes until done. Garnish and serve.
Notes
Ensure shrimp is cooked until opaque for best flavor and safety.
