Enjoy a flavorful and hearty bowl combining crispy potatoes, seasoned beef, fresh lettuce, and creamy burger sauce for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Spice Mix

  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • 1.5 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Cheese, regular or dairy-free

  • to taste Cheese

Pickle slices

  • to taste Pickle slices
  • 500 grams lean beef mince

Lettuce, shredded

  • to taste Lettuce, shredded
  • 2-3 medium potatoes (sliced into thin chips)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon or yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice from the pickle jar
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise

Burger Sauce

  • to taste Burger sauce

Instructions 

  • Mix all spice ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  • Slice potatoes into thin chips, dry, toss with 1 tbsp olive oil and half the spice mix. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30-40 mins or air fry for 20 mins until crispy.
  • Heat remaining olive oil in a pan, cook beef until browned, add remaining spice mix, and cook until liquid evaporates.
  • Mix ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, and mayonnaise to make burger sauce.
  • Assemble bowls with chips, shredded lettuce, cooked beef, cheese, pickle slices, and top with burger sauce. Serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to customize toppings and adjust spice levels to taste.
