Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb beef flank steak, sirloin, or ribeye, thinly sliced

Sauces and oils

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Vegetables

  • 1 bell pepper thinly sliced bell pepper
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot julienned carrot
  • 0.5 cup snap peas, ends trimmed

Garnishes

  • 2 green onions chopped for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

For serving

Instructions 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  • Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add garlic, ginger, and vegetables; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and sesame oil; cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds; serve with steamed rice if desired.

Notes
