A delicious and nutritious smoothie combining ripe bananas and mixed berries for a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1 large ripe banana, peeled
  • 1 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen

Liquid

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice

Dairy/Protein

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt

Add-ins

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional for added fiber)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional for flavor)

Instructions 

  • Place the banana, berries, almond milk, and yogurt into a blender.
  • Add chia seeds and vanilla extract if using.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and add honey or maple syrup if desired, then blend briefly.
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

For extra sweetness, add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
