Instructions
Cook apple filling: sauté apples with sugar, spices, and lemon juice until tender, then thicken with cornstarch mixture.
Prepare dough: mix warm milk, melted butter, eggs, sugar, yeast, and salt; add flour and knead until smooth; let rise for 1 hour.
Make topping: combine dry ingredients, cut in cold butter, bake until golden; prepare caramel sauce and cinnamon filling.
Roll out dough, spread cinnamon filling, dot with apple filling, roll up, and cut into pieces; place in pan over caramel sauce; let rise 30-40 minutes.
Bake at 350℉ for 40-46 minutes, pour heavy cream over, then cool slightly.
Prepare frosting: beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk; frost warm rolls, add apple topping and crumble, serve.
