A warm, comforting dessert featuring tender honeycrisp apples topped with a crunchy oat and nut topping.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Toss apples with lemon juice, vanilla, sugars, cornstarch, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Spread in a baking dish.
Bake apples for 10 minutes.
Mix oats, almond flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
Top baked apples with the crisp mixture. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbling.
Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use plant-based butter.
