Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound ground beef (85/15 blend)
  • 0.5 medium yellow onion, diced fine
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking oil
  • 0.5 cup water

Lettuce

  • 1 head butter lettuce (about 8-10 large leaves)

Instructions 

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 2 minutes.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmer until thickened, about 3 minutes.
  • Wash lettuce leaves and serve beef in leaves for wraps.
