A quick and flavorful Tex-Mex dish combining seasoned beef, rice, beans, and cheese in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
Meat and grains

ground beef

uncooked white rice

salsa (your favorite brand)

black beans, drained and rinsed

frozen corn

water

chili powder

Salt and pepper

shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Sour cream (optional)
Instructions
Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned; drain excess fat.
Add rice, salsa, beans, corn, water, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; stir and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until rice is tender.
Sprinkle cheese on top, cover, and wait until melted.
Garnish with cilantro and serve with sour cream if desired.
