These quick and easy energy bites combine trail mix and dark chocolate for a healthy, satisfying snack.

Instructions
Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl for 20 seconds, stir, and microwave an additional 10-15 seconds if needed.
Drop spoonfuls of melted chocolate onto wax paper to form circles about the size of a quarter.
Place trail mix on top of each chocolate circle and gently press down.
Let the bites dry for 40-60 minutes at room temperature or 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
